Back To The Future – Theatrical Production at Academy of Music

The show, Back To The Future, a stage play that was long overdue, was conceived way back 20 years ago, when the wife of one of the writers, Zemeckis, was ecstatic about the idea of the film being adapted for the stage. The musical was set to open in the year 2015, as an ode to the second part to the original motion picture (which was also written by the same creators), however the musical was delayed unintentionally and finally opened at the Manchester Opera House, then after a year, transferred to London’s Adelphi Theater after the COVID outbreak.

This coming November’s production of the Back To The Future stage adaptation will be held in Academy Of Music in Philadelphia, on Tuesday 18th November 2025.
