Written at the start of the millennium by the award-winning David Lindsay-Abaire, Kimberly Akimbo is a musical that revolves around the notion of Time, Identity, and Resilience.

Kim is a intellegent, humerious, and determined Jersey Teenager, with, A disorder that made her look like a 72-year-old lady, making her physical age four and a half times older than her actual age. Besides her fullfilling relationship with Jeff, one can hardly say more, her mother “Pattie”, is a hypochondriac, abruptly detached and emotionally unavailable often seeming to be caught up with her drama. “Buddy” Kimberly’s father is an heavy drinker who usually fails to portray a good father figure, and then there is “Aunt Debra” self centered con-artist, who’s entire interest was pulling successful conspiracies at all costs.
